In the Caves of Chaos...
- A friendly belu is wowed by the concept of cooked meat and tricked into exchanging its "second best" treasure (a sack of silver coins) for what is left of Adjo's magic yak cheese. The effects of the cheese on an already large creature like this forest ogre remain to be seen.
- The PCs steal an extra sack of silver.
Back at Wawatesan...
A player-supplied d84 carousing table proves so hardcore I start giving out XP for rolling on it, to wit:
- Jamila finds herself saying “Why would I want a LESSER charge officer?” The party skips town before her court hearing.
- Hanif: “No, let me throw it.” Stubbornly insists on being the one who throws the molotov cocktail into the cotton bale filled room. Later, wakes in a guard's house with a child on his chest exclaiming, “Daddy!” Quickly gathers clothes but takes a solid whack from the guard in question's cudgel when he returns home, before making his escape.
- Panya invites people over to eat, and is so drunk it takes over 30 minutes to open a jar of beans. Repeatedly refuses help when it is offered.
- Adjo (not carousing) Tattooed a magic rat design on Panya - she can invoke the Rat tattoo to (1 in 6 chance) hide perfectly and surprise opponents automatically.
Back at the Caves of Chaos...
- Evidence of Golden Wormlings.
- A collapsing floor! The party is split, temporarily, but finds a labyrinth of natural caves honeycombing the mountain, which they use to reach level 2 of the dungeon.
- A group of 7 minor rakhosh. They don't notice the party, but they look mean.
- A slave pen, containing wormlings, tamasic men and two humans: a wealthy merchant and the famous sculptor Patung.
- Patung has been blinded by his captors, after completing a statue of their god, Vorb the Wise: an orchid-headed demon with the body of a mantis, pierced all through with swords.
The session ends on another WiFi-failure cliffhanger.
