Revolution Comes to the Kingdom: Travel

 

1 hex = 10km/6m, but the terrain of the kingdom is rugged and mountainous, so for every hex you traverse, you are really travelling perhaps 20km.

 

When you travel:

Roll (guide’s level + WIS mod) x d6, minimum 2.

Rangers choose one die, others choose two.

1-4: This is how many hours it takes you to travel one hex.

5-6: 1 hour + an Encounter

Choose the next hex duration from your dice (if there are enough left) or roll again.

 

Vehicles add dice to the travel pool.

Travelling by highway or railway allows non-rangers to choose one die per hex but the highway encounter table includes a lot more checkpoints and so on.
